In 2019, Dana and Noel started Roberts Harbor Farm with a vision to restore the property to the farm it once was over 100 years ago. We continue to be profoundly grateful for the support of this extraordinary community.

FARM MANAGER

Jamie brings 15 years of experience in sustainable agriculture. She is passionate about organic food and the importance of community. She thrives on the challenge of farming in different climates. Most recently, she was responsible for establishing an organic farm to support farm to table cuisine at Sorrel River Ranch Resort, Moab, Utah. She comes to Vinalhaven with her sidekick Atticus, who is settling into his new life as the farm’s resident (and lovable) pooch.

CHEF

Ali began her culinary journey in the kitchen with James Beard award winner Hugh Acheson. America’s Test Kitchen, Flour & Water and Petit Crenn followed as she worked her way through the ranks of line cook in San Francisco and earned stripes in the kitchen. Ali spent several years as a food stylist and recipe developer, creating content for brands like Food & Wine, Real Simple, Southern Living, Health, and People Magazine among others. Recently, she started her own business, Ali Eats. She spends summers on Vinalhaven, creating amazing dinner events in the farm’s big old barn.

Lead Cook

Join us in welcoming Jane as Lead Cook this season. Her enthusiasm for all things fresh and foodie is contagious. She has spent the last few years building her experience and skills in various restaurants in and around New York City. Jane loves Vinalhaven and is cooking up some delicious food for the community for the farm stand. Look for some innovative twists on the farm menu this summer!

FARM WORKER

Originally from Long Beach, New York, Maddie spends the year working in graphics for the New York Islanders and has a background in event production, where hands-on work and long days are part of the job. This summer, they decided to try something new by joining the Roberts Harbor Farm team in Vinalhaven. With a love for the outdoors and a bit of farm experience under their belt, they’re excited to dive into the island life and get their hands dirty!

FARM WORKER & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

Brandon has worked at the farm since its very first season. More than an extra set of hands, he loves to help puzzle out solutions to the daily challenges that are part of farming. He’s easy going and smart, qualities that make him fun to work with on any project. Plus, he plays a mean guitar.
